Ashley Cox shares her experiences and memories from attending New Site High School. She participates in many school activities like basketball, softball, and the rocket team. New Site has provided her with opportunities to succeed both academically and athletically, winning championships in basketball and placing highly in a national rocketry competition. While she will miss her friends and school activities after graduating, New Site has prepared her well for her future.

2. New Site High School is a second home for me. I participate in many school activities and clubs ranging from the rocket team to the Bible club. Throughout this presentation, I will be showing the viewers what New Site means to me. To begin with, New Site mainly means a place where I go to see my friends, learn, and play basketball. It is a great school and has blessed me with many opportunities for my future.

3. Welcome to New Site High School! Home of the New Site Royals! This is a picture of the main building at my school. This is the first thing I see every morning as I arrive on campus. School business, enrollment, and transactions take place and are monitored in this building.

4. This is Mrs. Marshall. She is my favorite teacher and happens to be the Vice Principal. She is in charge of writing people absences and disciplining students. She is also my Advanced Placement English teacher.

5. This is New Site High School’s gym. I spend a lot of my time here considering I have played basketball for my all of my high school career. New Site, to me, means hard work and sports. New Site Gymnasium

6. Basketball is my source of fun at New Site. I spend a lot of time with my friends during this time. My team and I have proven to be successful in the past, claiming the title of 2009 North State Champions. We hope to succeed further this year by bringing home the golden ball!

7. As an athlete for New Site, I not only participate in basketball, but I also play softball. I have been a member of the Lady Royal Softball team since I was in the seventh grade. Although we are not the “number one” team, I still enjoy showing my school spirit along side my team of friends.

8. New Site Rocket Team!!! I am also a member of the New Site Rocket Team. We were the first team in the school’s history, and we started it off right. We made our way to the nation’s capital and placed third in the NATION in the TARC rocketry challenge. Our rocket was named the General Lee after the famous Dukes of Hazzard Dodge Charger!

9. My friends are a HUGE part of my high school career. I spend every day with them by my side. We share every laugh, smile, and memory together. I will miss them dearly after graduation!!!

10. Every summer, I would look forward to Basketball at the Beach, a basketball camp that the ball girls would take during the summer at Fort Walton, Florida. This past summer, my team did not lose a game! Go Lady Royals! I will miss this school trip. Basket Ball at the Beach!
