TIPPLER ONE AND TWO SHARED THREE OFFLOADING LINES.
YARD PERSONELL COULD NOT PULL EMPTYS WAGONS FROM TIPPLERS DUE TO CONGESTION.
LONG DOWNTIME ON TIPPLERS DUE THE YARDS BEING BLOCKED.
NOT BEING ABLE TO SERVICE THE TIPPLERS ON TIME WAS IMPACTING ON OUR WAGON
TURNAROUND TIME,LOCOMOTIVE TURNAROUND TIME ,ON TIME DEPARTURES AND RESERVATIONS.
CURRENTLY TIPPLER TWO HAS ONLY TWO FEEDER LINES FOR THE LOADED SIDE AND THIS MEANS
THAT ONLY ONE LOAD CAN BE STAGED AND PREPARED WHILST THE OTHER IS BEING TIPPED
.
EMPTY LOADS THAT MUST DEPART ARE PULLED OUT AND PLACED ON OTHER LINES THIS IS TIME
CONSUMING AND WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR SPACE AND TRAINS TO DEPART BEFORE THIS OCCURS.
5. BENEFITS
TIPPLER TWO NOW HAS THREE LINES THAT CAN BE USED FOR OFFLOADING.
AT ANY STAGE WE CAN HAVE TWO EMPTY LOADS FROM TIPPLER TWO READY PLUS THE THIRD
LOAD BUSY BEING TIPPED.
WE HAVE A NEW LINE TO STAGE LOADED WAGONS TOWARDS THE TIPPLER.
WE ARE NOW ABLE TO JUST PULL UP THE EMPTYS AND TURN THE POINTS FOR THE NEXT LINE AND
ON THE LOADED SIDE WE CAN PUSH UP THE LOADED WAGONS IN WITH EASE DUE TO THE FACT
THAT WE HAVE THREE STAGING LINES FOR LOADED WAGONS.
DELAYS WILL BE MINIMISED DUE TO US HAVING THESE DEDICATED LINES.
TAT HAS IMPROVED ON A OVERALL BASIS.
THE MAGNETITE MINES STOCKPILES WILL DECREASE DRASTICALLY.
LESS STOPPAGE TIME FOR TIPPLERS DUE TO THE YARD BEING BLOCKED.
