Our third Newsletter celebrates the enthusiasm and
encouragement we have received from so many of you.
It is interesting to see how many people are ready to
discuss alternatives to traditional embalming methods
using formaldehyde, as well as the numbers concerned
about the long-term effects on their own health.
What is clear is that much of this interest in change is
being driven by a more general interest in finding the
best ways to improve the environment we live and work
in. This is coming both from funeral professionals and
the general public and shows that there is an ever-
growing move to make changes. We asked in our last
newsletter about how we should define perfection, but
we also need to think about practical ways to meet these
concerns.
If families are asking about environmental alternatives,
then we need to be ready with an answer for them. If
employees or colleagues are affected by their working
conditions, we need to investigate how to improve those
conditions.
It’s no good relying on the old line of ‘it’s always been this
way’ if it loses us business or skilled staff and it is clear
that many of you are looking at ways to learn and grow
and to ensure that practical alternatives are readily
available.
There are all sorts of ways to make things a little bit
better, without serious disruption. A few small changes
can have a big impact and we are confident that using
Naturensbalm is one of those small changes which can
have a substantial impact. To be headache or sore throat-
free, to reduce the need for protective equipment, to be
able to offer a natural alternative are all significant
changes resulting from one, very small change.
