Natural Bridge recreational area located 1.4 miles off highway 278 contains rock formations, picnic areas, walking trails, and beautiful scenery. The area has many paths along slopes and ridges leading to the bridge and streams. There are also primitive picnic sites with tables and fire pits for day use, as well as rock steps to make climbing easier between observation areas. The area provides a day of enjoying nature and quiet scenery on the southeastern edge of the Bankhead National Forest.
