This document lists numerous national references and evaluations of LinkAge from 2012 to 2016. It highlights that LinkAge works with older adults and communities to facilitate social activities that reduce isolation and loneliness and promote active aging. Formal evaluations found that LinkAge increased social connections, reduced isolation, and improved well-being and physical activity among participants. The document also provides links to videos showing the impact of LinkAge in improving people's lives.

One of the keyrecommendations inthe Centre for Social Justice’s Age of Opportunity report was that every local authority
should have a coordinated, systematic approach to supporting older people in the community, bybringing together service
providers of all kinds to map and establish networks of local provision.
After visiting LinkAge we have concluded that this is an excellent example of such an approach from which manyother local
