Objective
Obtain employment as a civil engineer, environmental engineer or land manager in order to build on my

Responsibilities include generating planning documents such as water system plans, general sewer plan
amendments and consolidation feasibility studies for Eastern and Central Washington municipalities,
hydraulic analysis for water system improvements using WaterCAD, SEPA/NEPA level assessments for
design/construction projects (includes EO 05-05/Section 106, ESA as well as coordination with multiple
funding agencies [e.g. RD, CDBG, DWSRF, ECY]) aiding in transportation design, and aiding in funding

Responsibilities included prep cook for deli items, coordinating live music events twice a week, bouncing
and enforcing liquor laws, general maintenance, stocking, barista, and register. The nature of this work

Interests/Volunteer
As a board member and Advocacy Chair for EEMBA I have worked with the City of Spokane Parks
Department to adopt a resolution supporting and recognizing the Beacon Hill Trail Preservation Plan (of
which I was the primary author) in an effort to formally recognize the value of the local trail system. I also
worked with Spokane County Parks, local landowners, and developers in the Beacon Hill area to prepare
land applications during the 2016 Conservation Futures open nomination round.
I have a strong interest and commitment to responsible land management practices. In conjunction with
Spokane County Parks and Alta Planning + Design I volunteered to help map and also provided input for
the Mica Peak Non-Motorized Trail Plan.
I enjoy generating maps using QGIS and public datasets to interface with mobile apps (MotionX GPS,
Maprika) to aid in backcountry travel.
I enjoy skiing, backpacking/mountaineering, mountain biking and trail running with my wife and trusty
mutt. In the fall of 2014 I traveled with my wife and best friend through Southeast Asia for severalweeks.
