The blue Morpho butterfly is found in the jungles of Central and South America. It has large, delicate silky blue wings with brown dots and colors on the underside. The male blue Morpho has a very strong blue color while the females are lighter blue or not blue at all. The blue Morpho feeds on nectar, rotting fruit, pollen, and tree sap. It lays its eggs on leaves and the larvae that hatch eat the leaves.
