A wall hanging I created for inspiration  featuring reflective silhouettes of striped bass. inspiration
Specimen placement planning: species profiles arranged over plan views of the aquarium. organization

Digital collage: concept for the main ocean  tank on the second floor. visualization
As soon as they enter, visitors are met with  the sounds of gulls and a two-story waterfall. experience: lobby
Schooling menhaden and bioluminescent  jellies captivate visitors waiting for a film. experience: first floor
The massive ocean tank looms over a young  visitor emerging from the comb jelly forest. experience: second floor
The aviary provides another perspective of the  exhibits and a place for exploration. experience: third floor
Visitors are introduced to the striper motif and invited to follow it through the aquarium. interpretation: intro
Striper signage is printed on frosted glass and mounted directly to the concrete walls. interpretation: lake
Each iteration of signage focuses on a step of  the striper reproductive cycle… interpretation: river
… and guides visitors through the aquarium  from lake, to river, to ocean. interpretation: ocean
