The NAP Global Network aims to enhance national adaptation planning and action in developing countries. Established in 2014, it is funded by several donor countries and involves both developing countries and donors. It provides coordination, learning opportunities, and bilateral support through various activities. These include targeted topic forums, a peer exchange program, country support hub, and thematic resources. The peer exchange program facilitates visits between developing countries to share adaptation planning experiences. The country support hub offers expert advice and targeted technical assistance to maintain momentum in national adaptation planning processes.

6. Our ActivitiesSouth-South Peer Exchange
Types of support:
1. Sponsorship of flights, accommodation, meals
and incidental costs for a technical representative
(‘NAP expert’) from a developing country and working
on the NAP process to visit to a ‘host’ developing
country that has requested inputs from peers.
2. Logistical support by the Network Secretariat to
make arrangements for a south-south peer exchange,
upon request by a host country.
3. Support from the host country and the NAP Global
Network Secretariat to coordinate specific technical
inputs during the exchange.
