projects. My responsibilities include budget and schedule controls, procurement and management of
consultants, technical analysis, and project management oversight of partner-led projects. I evaluate
grant applications and oversee projects in process, such as fleet replacement and transit maintenance
facility projects. I also participate in transportation and civil engineering aspects of planning studies &
conceptual engineering designs.
 I designed a web portal to track progress of Authority-funded capital projects, and procured and
managed a consultant to build it. The portal consolidates information on scope, expenditures, and
progress reports, and serves as the basis for management and reporting of the Authority’s portfolio
of projects.
 As an Engineer supporting the $126M Van Ness Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project, I provided fleet,

The A/UD Group was responsible for the public process-oriented design, construction, and
maintenance of over 45 parks throughout Boston, including the Rose F. Kennedy Greenway.
 I managed park design contracts, from design to construction, including budget tracking,
resolution of requests for information, and implementation of design changes.
 With the maintenance committee, I developed manuals and standards for managing the parks,
including elements from organic horticulture to complex fountains.
 I designed databases and spreadsheets to track, analyze, and coordinate programs focused on
quality assurance, schedules, and turnover of deliverables.
 I prepared and delivered presentations for community/public process meetings, colleagues
visiting from other projects, and the Turnpike management and Board of Directors.

I coordinated submittals, documented materials control, and resolved technical issues on this $750M
construction contract.
 I managed the timely submission and approval of over 1,500 submittals, involving a variety of
structures, systems, and construction techniques: immersed tube tunnels, cut-and-cover tunnels,
post-tensioned precast beam bridges (one a railroad bridge), pump stations, various utilities,
historic seawall reconstruction, and surface restoration.
 I resolved technical issues that appeared during submittal process, through research in
specifications, authoring requests for information, and meeting with principals.
 I worked closely with the steel detailer and the structural engineers to obtain approval of over
500 rebar drawing submittals, in a time frame supporting the construction schedule.
 I participated in inspections and monitoring of reinforcing steel installation, concrete pours, and
post-tensioning of bridge beams.
