My family can reduce our carbon footprint by 10 percent or more if we do some of the following:Dry our clothes outside instead of using the dryer (mainly on sunny days)
Turning down our household’s thermostat by a few degrees Fahrenheit on winter nights
Turning down our household’s air conditioner thermostat by a few degrees in summer. Also open up windows and use fans.
Enable the sleep feature on our computer and monitor
Turning off lights when we’re not in the room
Keep the tap off when we not using it (don’t keep water running)
Wash clothes in cold water rather than in warm.
Take shorter showers
Unplug chargers or plugs when appliance is not in use.Use Rechargeable batteries Flip Through the Next Slides for Tips!
