My Mystery Film

Students will work in groups of four to create a 4-6 minute mystery short film. They must write a script containing key mystery elements that is a minimum of two pages. They will film and edit their movie, ensuring speaking parts are memorized and camera angles are thoughtful. Students will also create a director's cut explaining their mystery thesis, film decisions, and how the film was influenced by novels they read. The completed film and director's cut will be screened for classmates and special guests on April 24th.

LeviPath is a modular system to levitate objects across 3D paths. It consists of two opposed arrays of transducers that create a standing wave capable of suspending objects in mid-air. To control the standing wave, the system employs a novel algorithm based on combining basic patterns of movement. Our approach allows the control of multiple beads simultaneously along different 3D paths. Due to the patterns and the use of only two opposed arrays, the system is modular and can scale its interaction space by joining several LeviPaths. In this paper, we describe the hardware architecture, the basic patterns of movement and how to combine them to produce 3D path visualisations.

- 1. My Mystery: A Film Project Project Summary: For this assignment, you will be presenting your own mystery short film. You will work in elected groups of four (4) to complete the project. Essential Questions: - How can we use mystery elements to create our mystery videos? - How can we draw in the interest of the general population?
