Daily consuming habits Angelos Maragos Athens, 27/3/2011 http://www.facebook.com/amaragos http://twitter.com/angelosmaragos
Well, I guess that like everyone else I have my regular “offline” habits
But the last two years I’ve been able to notice a few changes in my daily consuming behaviour.
First of all, recycling. A plastic bag is usually hanging by the rubbish bin. There, I throw my recyclable stuff, without any exceptions.
A trip to Spain that made me look DESPERATELY for a couple of products… Jam ón Serrano Spanish beer (any brand, really)
Two years ago, I was afraid to buy anything from the internet. Now I think that online shopping is something really comfortable and also cheap.
The Smartphone era. Now, I owe an i-phone and I frequently look for new interesting and helpful “apps”.
And finally, the Web 2.0 that tends to redefine our consumption habits. The same thing that did with me.
I “tweet” something and someone else reads it. I write my opinion about a movie on Miso and my friends can read it on Facebook. That’s consumption and creation in the same time.
I think that this is happening because I want it to happen. Because you want it to happen too. We want to create and share. Companies like to do this ultimately. Share and create WITH us.
