The speaker recalls having their first crush, being struck by them when they first saw them and having their voice choke up when talking to them. They spent class just looking at their crush and checked social media frequently hoping to chat with them. The speaker's heart fell for their crush without realizing and they did silly things to try and impress them. However, the crush was never reciprocated and remained just a dream that never became real, and the speaker still misses and wonders about their former crush.
