THE BIG 4
 These are four of the main music companies. EMI, warner, Sony and
universal. These four monopolies the music industry owning over 70%
of the market. They have 1000’s of the best and well known artists
which continually have number one records and albums.
INDEPENDENT MUSIC
LABELS
 Independent have as little shares in the music industry as they own less that
30%. They are continually competing with the big four. As they have less
money an control there music videos are less impressive as the other.
However Adele was signed to a independent music label showing us that even
though they aren't as big they still can reach number ones and world
recognition.
