Kevin Riotto took an online course to learn about video editing using Windows Movie Maker. He found it very user friendly and able to edit video and sound easily. It also had many transition, fade, and effect options. Uploading images and audio was simple. He discovered new editing programs and sites to share his work. His knowledge of editing video, sound, and photos increased. He created several media presentations to potentially use in his students' upcoming school year. However, he found the amount of websites on some topics overwhelming and some links led to pop-up filled sites. Uploading projects publicly was more challenging than completing them. Audacity was difficult to use due to a separate encoder download requirement.

-I discovered many new editing programs and

-I increased my knowledge of editing

that I will potentially use for my students this
upcoming school year.
4. Challenges
-The amount of websites in certain topics were a bit
overwhelming
-Some of the links led me to pop-up filled sites.
-Completing the projects was not was nearly as challenging as
uploading your projects on the web to be viewed publically.
-Audacity was difficult because of the LAME encoder which had to
be downloaded separately.
5. -Moodle was basic and very use friendly. As a first time “Moodler” I picked
up on it within minutes.
-I enjoyed the optional assignments given and the “work at your own pace”
format.
-I have taken more than ten online classes and they have all went very
smooth. Online Learning allows individuals to work freely yet still complete
the same expectations as a typical classroom setting.
-Rubrics were hard to find, maybe post them on the assignment or
submission page.
-Appreciate the prompt feedback and grading on assignments.
