This document describes a heart rate monitoring system created by four group members. It uses an IC CD 4060 counter/oscillator chip to generate different tones for an alarm based on temperature readings from an NTC thermistor. When the temperature reaches a threshold set by a potentiometer, a transistor activates the alarm. Users can select the tone combination using switches to distinguish this alarm from others that may be nearby. The circuit can operate from 2V to 6V and aims to provide an easy-to-identify alarm for temperature monitoring applications.
