SUMMARY
In 1998-2004 December I worked for Telekom. I was responsible for wiring of broadcast
equipment like analogue fiber systems called OVID system that were used to connect via
patching various venues of life broadcast to various distributors and contributors
(SABC,MULTICHOICE,GLOBECAST,SUMMIT TV,GLOBALACCESS).
In 2005-2013/May, I worked for Telemedia, a satellite and microwave broadcast company. I
was responsible for contributing and distributing live games either via SATELLITE OR
MICROWAVE. We were responsible for laying fiber between our MCR and other broadcast
companies (SABC, Multichoice, Etv, Urbanbrew, Tshwanetv). I also was responsible for the
building and maintenance of FCCs
In 2013(June)-2014(October) I free-lanced for SABC DSNG department as a DSNG engineer and
my responsibilities were to operate DSNGs and ENGs for news morning or news afternoon
together with sport events.
2014(October-December): I worked as an assistant Engineer at Red-pepper for Big Brother
production. My responsibilities were to respond to all technical broadcast faults in the entire
Big Brother production.

2. 2014(December)-now: I’m working for eNCA as a DSNG engineer and my responsibilities are to
operate DSNGs and ENGs for news. I have to plan the rig, setup the SNG and be a technical
director plus sound engineering.
