Morten Starup has been employed an intern at the office of Little Mermaid
Hotdogs Catering Management Company Co., Ltd. in Shanghai from February 15.
2015 to May 15. 2015.
Under the supervision of Co-Founder Tina Damsgaard Nielsen, Morten has been
involved in a number of assignments regarding strategic planning including:
• Planning social media strategy
• Positioning and strengthening our newly established brand on the Chinese
market
Morten has accomplished all his tasks effectively and showed the ability to solve
them in a systematic, independent and intelligent manner.
Morten assisted in planning and executing the Grand Opening of our first branch
in Shanghai and a series of branding events before and after the Grand Opening
with the aim of making a connection between our brand and Danish culture. On
the basis of this series of events Morten analysed the data and used it to plan the
next steps for our company’s branding strategy in China.
In the day-to-day operation Morten made use of his excellent English
communication skills in business meetings as well as in social events. In addition,
Morten has been a great asset to us in general, always assisting with ad hoc
assignments and handling them with a positive and friendly attitude.
It has been a pleasure working with Morten and on the basis of the
abovementioned; I can warmly recommend Morten and believe he will be a great
