The market is likely to open lower on mostly negative
Asian stocks. Trading of CNX Nifty futures on the
Singapore stock exchange indicates that the Nifty could
fall 23 points at the opening bell. Asian shares were
trading mostly lower as investors were reassessing the
Federal Reserve's policy outlook following its decision
this week to start tapering stimulus.

the rating of the bank's outstanding subordinated debt
lower tier II bonds series V to series IX aggregating Rs

upper tier II bonds series I and II of Rs 1000 crore to
CARE AA- from CARE AA. It has also revised downwards
bank's IPDI series I and II bonds of Rs 300 crore to
CARE AA- from CARE AA.
Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) bought shares
worth a net Rs 2264.11 crore on Thursday, 19
December 2013, as per provisional data from the stock
exchanges.
US stocks on Thursday recovered earlier losses as
investors shrugged off disappointing housing,
manufacturing and employment reports, sending the
Dow Jones Industrial Average to a record closing.
