1. Monday, July 17th – 25th Lunar Forecast by Jessica
Since the peak of light at the full moon two weeks ago, we have been going through a process
of desiring to meaningfully reach out and make connections with life and those around us, while
simultaneously being ushered deeply within, by seemingly greater forces, to connect on ever
deeper levels with ourselves. This is the calling of the times…a reunion with self and Life.
For so many it seems there is the constant feeling of “my boat is being rocked”, and for some
the ship is simply sinking.
These are indeed very intense times of shifting where we are continuously being asked to
rediscover ourselves and what is meaningful to us in our lives. I like to think of it as a renewal; a
sort of cleansing, where fresh new potential lie incubating beneath the rocky surface, yet
unseen, waiting for its moment of birth…
In this past four week lunar cycle that is now nearing to a close many of us have been
experiencing major inner revelations and “aha” moments, reflected back to us by important and
transformative outer experiences in our relationships and most personal lives.
This is a week full of the energies that great Revolutions are made of! Or at the very least the
start of something big! In fact we should expect and prepare for an ever greater feeling of
intensity as well as the tensions being high this week.
With the New Moon in Cancer we reach the peak of personal need and for some, personal
insecurity through Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week will be overwhelming. With
Mars a key player this week, the inner fires will be raging and this will surely be reflected out to
be experienced in our lives. Pay greater attention this week to take care and precaution in your
dealings, as many are feeling at the edge… as it is -we have known for a long time – something
has got to change…
It’s a good week to take some time off, stay home, get into nature and re-center. It is essential
to create balance and a personal state of well-being when the pressures are so high. However,
this is certainly a week where it is necessary to paddle through the wave we are riding… just
don’t forget to breathe…
By the end of the week the tides should begin to calm a bit…
The New Moon in and of itself is a time of new beginnings and planting seeds, but this new
moon is most powerfully backed by the force of a revolution! Mars is one active player that will
be strongly energized to initiate creative change, or in some cases destructive chaos. One way
or another, at all cost, the break down of what needs to go and the re-formulation of the new will
be the mission through out this week, and continuing through out the entire 4 week lunar cycle.
Mercury has also started its “retrograde” phase this past Saturday that will last for 3 weeks.
This phase is infamous for technical glitches, delays, mis-communications and an overall feeling

2. of being unable to handle our “outer” business with out a bit more of a challenge. However,
essentially this is a time to slow down in the outer world, get a bit less busy, if possible, so that
you can connect inwardly to your own personal ideas, and perceptions, and interpretations of
your life experiences. Get to know your self on a linear level just a little bit more clearly. What
I’m about to advise is not your typical Mercury retrograde suggestion; however with the
astronomical events of this week I will say: Speak up and voice yourself, for when you do you
claim a message of the voice of the collective waiting desperately to be heard…
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday marks the 3 dark nights of the moon. The Moon will move
through Cancer and chances are these days will not just be a submersion into the watery
depths of our most personal self and emotional needs. The fires will be sparked and possibly
some very extravagant shows of fireworks! In short – tempers may be flaring and passions
blazing about to be seen, heard and felt. With Mars in intimate contact with the big change
makers – Uranus and Pluto, the fuel is there and the impulse to ignite the torch of evolution is as
wild and free as ever. This week there is really no stopping the urge pressing to break out of
whatever it is that confines you.
By early Thursday Moon will be in Leo and by then we will be feeling more than ready to move
out of the inner personal processing mode into creatively expressing ones desires and dreams
for the future. Leo just does because it wants to and can! This is the essence of the day to siege
and bring forth. There is magnificence to express and the glory of a new day and a new
beginning is upon us! If you are able to rise up from the ruble of the potentially tumultuous
experiences of the beginning of this week then dust your self off and rejoice in some play and
fun! This can be a day to take the time to communicate in our relationships, to express our most
desirable life path and destiny, and dream for our future…
With the Moon in Virgo on Saturday and Sunday we journey through a more serious focus on
what we are intending to create and bring forth through our dedication to the vision and the
dream. Virgo wants to grow and to be initiated through a process of hard work, devotion and
commitment. Process of elimination is one way Virgo works, eliminating that which does not
efficiently and effectively serve the higher purpose. Virgo’s power is her ability to produce
results and stay centered and self-knowing in the process. Her shadow is being insensitive to
others (or self) faults or perceived flaws and losing a sense of compassion and understanding
for the natural order of life.
On Monday, Tuesday, and the first part of Wednesday, the Moon will be in Libra. The first part
of this week will be about readjusting to all that was released and all that was brought in, and is
now seeking to find a place in our world. Libra is the first step towards relating, connecting and
building the bridge from one island of self to the other. Life is full of extremes and imbalances
and when moon is in Libra we see this clearly and engage with it for the hope and intention of
some harmony, peace and beauty in the end. Libra wants to debate and negotiate about it. I
suggest doing this over some good food in a comfortable environment.
On Wednesday the Moon will move into Scorpio and stay through Friday. This time will require
a deeper focus and attention towards our emotional needs, our security needs and our ability
(or inability) to bond and create intimate relationships in our lives. Hot baths and candle light in a

3. dark and cozy space can help guide us into journeying through these deeper caverns of the
soul… Pay attention to where you are supported in life.
We are now preparing for the next phase of the cycle in the Waxing Half Moon where we will
meet with the necessity to face the results of the past week. Some of us will be spending our
time picking up the pieces from the fury of intensity, or in less extreme conditions, continuing to
piece together the new framework set in place. In either position it is now a time to take into
account what are the available resources (or lack of them), what do we need to acquire or
relinquish in order to proceed with the mission.
I do believe in the age old adage “life never gives us more than we can handle”, as well as in
the reality that when we fully align and embrace our hearts desire all doors to the creation of
that – open up…
May you feel supported enough through these strong currents of life that you are able to breath
through it into that place in your heart where you can rest peacefully on the shores of your own
love.
