Visalization of Croatian - Slovenian MoU on the Ljubljanska Banka issue [Info...Tomislav Korman
Memorandum of Agreement compiled as an image to simplify its meaning. The prime ministers of Croatia and Slovenia, Zoran Milanovic and Janez Jansa, meeting in Mokrice, Slovenia on Monday, signed a Memorandum of Agreement between the two governments to resolve the Ljubljanska Banka issue within negotiations on succession to the former Yugoslavia, while the Slovenian parliament would immediately initiate ratification of Croatia's European Union accession treaty.
A decade ago, higher education online experiences were segmented into walled gardens -- the public Web site, the course management system, online transactions, alumni communities, events calendars. The legacy of that structure was that our lifelong relationships with the college were interrupted as students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni moved from system to system.
The next-generation online ecosystem will let us re-organize these experiences, allowing for deepening engagement throughout our lives: from prospective student to elder alum. How can we evaluate, select, and configure systems to support our users' needs, rather than the other way around?

Automotive: Innovative Frugal Engineering Holds The KeyAchal Raghavan
The document discusses opportunities for innovation in the global automotive industry given its current difficulties. It suggests that Indian "frugal engineering" could show the way forward through approaches like making cars upgradeable with replaceable fuel-efficient modules rather than requiring new cars, and downsizing cars without losing interior space like the Tata Nano. This could help address excess industry capacity and make transportation more sustainable and affordable.

Ante Starčević was a 19th century Croatian politician known as the "Father of Croatia". He was born in 1823 in what is now Croatia and was one of the first to advocate publicly for Croatian independence and unity among South Slavs. His most famous speech established his National Party in 1861. Though very active in politics, he saw himself more as an ideologist. He was imprisoned in 1862 for opposing Austrian rule and became known as the government's "Enemy No. 1" for his patriotic calls for an independent Croatia. His ideas for an independent Croatian state were ahead of his time but remained misunderstood by his contemporaries.

Moj hrvatski jezik
pozdrav, sanjaju o dalekim morima i čarima netaknute prirode.
Riječi su kao osjećaji. One te čine onakvim kakav želiš biti.
Moj hrvatski jezik u sebi nosi sve radosti Hrvata. Uči nas o Ljudevitu
Gaju. Pjeva Preradovića. Ušuškava nas u san pričama Ivane Brlić –
Mažuranić. Putuje Jadranskim morem, skriva se u vinogradima Zagorja,
utrkuje se s vjetrom slavonskim poljima punim pozlaćenog klasja žita. Za
njega su se borili mnogi prije i poslije Gaja, Draškovića, Mažuranića,
Vraza...Bio bi grijeh kada bismo ga sada zanemarili, napustili. Ne smijemo
dozvoliti da mu tuđice unište milozvučnost, ritmom prožetu igru riječi, da
mu naruše sklad i čistoću.
taj glas poslušam i čim prijeđem granicu, postane mi toplo oko srca jer
neponovljivu.
