Project is designed in 5 building that is adapted to site terrain with high
sloped land. the orientations of each block is for both site analyze and best view
for apartments reasons. Steep Slope and small edge for entrance were another
challenging part of the design and in some cases diagonal stairs is requisitioned to
solve the problems. the Basement levels connect all 5 building form underground,
this complicated basement floors contain pool, spa, mechanical room and a public
space that has separate access from outside and is interconnected to parking .

MASS
COMBINATION
The building Concept arises from its own functions. It consists of some simple boxes
combining to each other, and the orientation defines separation of the functions, offices and
faculties.it gives direction to the building, imposing it with a new geometric law, even within the
project. It also considered to respond to the climate and environmental effect on the building.
Large area in the orientated part (the gallery) makes the form light and active. it guides and
acts as a monument for the building, welcoming poeple who approach it. although combination of
the form keeps balance and coherence of the building. the 2 pathes behind this form is depicting
the characteristic of Abo Ali Sina who divided his life in two major aspect,Research and education.
one of two pathes end up to the research and library zone and the other is educational zone.
Abo Ali sina was a great polymath which means he had great knowledge in many deffrent
branches. a uniform building that organizes all the faculties of the uiversity, quite resembles this
situation. according to the concept diagram each 2 faculties that have similar functionalities are
organaized in one wing of the form and every office related to its own function.
29. The idea of this concept is based on two principles
1-climate and compatibility to the environment 2- the scale

theOrientationofthebuildingbasedonsiteandclimateanalysisofShirazcityisintheoptimumsituation.
Mass rotation and reforming interacts with pleasant wind “Saba” of the city (Saba is a Wind in the ancient
Persian poems that blow form east and north in the spring) and let the air penetrates and provides the
ventilation in a sustainable way.( Saba wind breathe fragrance will make the old world young again
Hafez Shiraz). also according to mass sun study the geographic orientation of building is in good energy
consumption level.
The mass gravitated toward main path that is the main street of entrance to Shiraz city showing kind of
greeting to tourists and visitors of the city. According to urban design principals and for keeping green
spaces intact the mass respectfully and spectacularly cantilevered over the area at the entrance.
2- the scale
the idea of scales divided to 3 parts, human, city and region scales
Human- at the beginning despite being high rise building the mass starts at a smaller size and human
scale then ascend with a evolutionary form. in the main facade a geometry human scale pattern organizes
the elevations
and there is a half open atrium resembling the introverted yards of ancient Persian houses.
City- Shiraz is an historical and venerable city while it is considered modern city of Iran now a days. The
city has witnessed and evolutionary development on its body. Mass of this project reflects this process,
deforming from a solid base (city past) to a formal mass in vertical direction. The appellation of project
“Nyayesh”meaningtalkingandworshipingGodaffectsbuildingformandcreatesacombinationsofvertical
forms evoke the meaning. Within the project the function or planing associates with Islamic Arches and
finallyaspecialdisplayofthearchemergeattheendofthemassgivingaregionalidentitytotheform.The
triangular pattern on the other hand imitates the pattern of the Khatam ( Khatam is an ancient Persian
technique of inlaying. it is a version of marquetry where art forms are made by decorating the surface of

The ABAN trade and office Complex is located on
a plot of 2600 sqm2 in the centre of Hashemiieh Mashhad
City, approximatetly 5 km west of the center city of
Mashhad, in Iran.,It is proposed to be a major retail, Office
and recreation complex catering to the extensive number
of visitors from the city of Mashhad (population circa 2.8
million) as well as the approximately 20 million pilgrims
who visit Mashhad annually.
The development includes a shopping center, office,
serviced apartments, e. The total proposed gross floor area
is approximately 10375 sqm consist of construction area
for structured basement car parking. The site is surrounded
by major roads and has good access on two sides
I am pleased to present this Preliminary Design
Report for the Aban Plaza. In this design stage, a multi-
disciplined design has been developed from the Concept
Design based on the Client’s design brief, comments and
the parameters set within the overall ABAN masterplan.
• This process has entailed:
• Discussions with the Client and final review and approval
of theConcept Design.
• Development of the exterior and interior planning and
layouts, taking into account the Client’s design review
comments and recommendations, including Authorities
requirements.
• Preparation of preliminary dimensioned architectural
plans, sections and elevations covering all areas of design.
• Coordination of architectural design with MEP and
structural preliminary designs.
• Preparation of preliminary acoustic study identifying
key areas to be addressed.
• Coordination of the fire, life safety strategy with all other

Forming a key commercial attraction for the

Omran Holding Group is one of the biggest
Construction Company in Afghanistan that do some
of corps (US army) Military base Projects. I was
recruited to accomplish Architectural Design of
their office Headquarter and coopreate with their
professional staff like Architects and Engineers.
Building located in the Kabul Karte 3 adjacent to
the police station. Clients demanded new modern
style architecture for their building, the initial plan
was designed by themselves. There was basic idea of
the project and it showed the position of necessary
spaces. But they hadn't been satisfied .then clients
asked me a total revision while their basic plan must
be preserved.
The building was inaugurated in September
2014.

Jumairah Restaurant
Building located in the Kabul city down town, in a populated place. Clients demanded new modern style architecture form for their building, a restaurant that serves different
sort of meals, a happy place. It contains coffee shop, self-service restaurant, place for families and children, place for youth etc. the functionality is simple. It is mostly big open space
separatedbypartitioning.TheformmustresembleanelegantModernRestaurantthatservethebestqualityofmealsandservicesinthecity.Diagonallinesthroughoutthebuilding
make it to look more an active place and the long horizontal form movements provide coherence of the building. Glass wall sloping forward reflect the entire street and shows all
urban activities and behavior around it. The Big orientated inclined glass triangle in the corner of the form, reflects entire intersection too. It makes the form lighter and emphasizes
the importance of the building.

51. 1.1 Introduction
Project brief required large public areas for ceremonies and distinguished between
general, semipublic areas and private, and semiprivate areas and also demanded reasonable
hierarchical relationship between these spaces.
According to the climate of the city (cold and mountain city), building form and
function is designed compact and concentric. And orientation of private and semiprivate
areas (the place that will be must used by owner) is 17 degree off axis form North Axis,
which causes Most Energy Consumption form the Sun at the southern Edge. Also all
exterior walls are considered thermal isolation (3d Panel) and all glaze walls curtain wall)
and windows are thermal isolated either. Master Bedroom, 2 children bedrooms and private
living-room are located in this area.

COMBINATION
The building Concept arises from its own functions. It consists of some simple boxes
combining to each other, and the orientation defines separation of the functions, public and
private areas.it gives direction to the building, imposing it with a new geometric law, even
within the project. It also considered to respond to the climate and environmental effect on the
building. Large cantilever area in the orientated part makes the form light and active although
combination of the form keeps balance and coherence of the building.

The house is designed on 2000 m2 area and ground is located in foothills District of OMID SABZ Town(kabul Suburb)and has about 15% slope down to the west . The
Town is still a developing area and under construction district of Kabul. The Site stretched along east west axis. According to client’s demand, two separate access is considered
form east and west. The Town is suburb in the west of Kabul city. many compliment the area for its clear Air, local fresh water and close to nature Private access is at the east
side, only use by residents and close persons to them, it also has access to second floor separately.

58. Accordingtothesustainabledesigningfeatures,buildingenergyconsumptionisconsideredinshape,placement,orientation,
materials and equipment of the building. South retreat and 17 degree clockwise orientation from the south of the upper
floors cause most solar Radiation to southern walls in winter and using isolated wall, glaze walls and curtain walls lead sun
light inside, and trap energy (greenhouse effect). Using photo voltaic panels on the rooftop helps saveing energy, considered
for lighting and small electronic devices for special areas of the building. Animated awning, automatic curtain and using
BMS technology are other strategies of energy saving. Considering Travertine stone as the walls Main exterior finishing
material that is 100% local and building adaptation to the ground terrain are also according to the sustainable design
principles.
