- Quoting just 15 most famous people of the world,
- And putting up all this on display in just Few slides,
- The essence of what God told to this man in 6000+ verse.
Hats off to the The Great Teacher and Educator of Mankind - Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) - To know more about him, please view this presentation
Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught many important principles and morals, and even set forth rules for combat setting the precedent and still exceeding the rules of war set forth by the Geneva Convention.
Consider the following:
All innocent life was sacred and as such none could be harmed, except those who were engaged against them in active combat. Saving one life was as if one had saved the entire world, while taking an innocent life was as if one had taken the lives of the entire world.
There was to be no genocide of any tribes even up until some had committed genocide against some Muslims. He offered mutual protection and forgiveness to the all even after certain ones broke their covenants with him many times. He did not allow them to be attacked until it was clearly proven they were traitors during time of war and tried to bring down the prophet (peace be upon him) and the Muslims at any cost. Retaliation was only to those Jews who had turned traitor and not others.
Slaves were common in those days for all nations and tribes. It was Islam that encouraged freeing of the slaves and the great reward from Allah for those who did so. Prophet (peace be upon him) gave the example of this by freeing slaves and encouraging all of his followers to do the same. Examples include his own servant (who was actually considered like a son to him) Zaid ibn Al Haritha and Bilal the slave who was bought by Abu Bakr only for the purpose of freeing him.

15. Pakistan's Elite and the Art of Deception 02 May 2024.pptxKashif Mateen Ansari
Pakistan's Elite and the Art of Deception
Pakistan’s governance challenges lies a political system characterized by patronage networks that prioritize personal gain, dynastic politics that perpetuate power within specific families, and weak institutional checks and balances that fail to uphold transparency and accountability.
Grid constraints in Pakistan are a result of problems like poor departmental management, a reliance on imported fossil fuels, high power generation costs, and antiquated monitoring techniques.
It's turtles all the way down.
We need to upskill our young generation in the skills that would be relevant in the next few decades. The World Economic Forum’s meeting in Davos this year had one of the themes about what would be the future of work. In a study they pointed out that about a quarter of jobs today would not be there very soon due to the advances in technology, especially Artificial Intelligence.
Benjamin Franklin said, “Common sense is something that everyone needs, few have, and none think they lack.”
This is a great quotation that sums up our national dilemma. We face existential challenges on the economic front and are experiencing almost unsurmountable problems in the power and energy sectors. Many problems that we have created ourselves have outgrown to a size where handling them looks almost impossible.
Our predicament is to figure out by looking at the state of our youth, "what promise does our nation holds for the future?"
Investing in skill development makes perfect economic sense; according to a report by UNESCO, "$1 invested in youth skills can pay back after fifteen-fold in economic growth."
CEO Kashif Mateen Ansari's article discusses the risk of a great opportunity being wasted.
, “Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”
Nations emerge from the ashes of such grave events, and we are no exception. As a country we have faced war on terror and wars imposed by neighbours and economic burdens of providing refuge to millions and facing long -term economic sanctions all in a lifetime of a generation.
The people of Pakistan are beaten by frightening inflation and rising prices, and now the terror attacks on the mosques and Milad processions. Obviously, there is sadness and discomfort in the air. The poor are trying to cling on to any last piece of hope and for that they are desperately trying to find any reason and light whatsoever they can find
Moving from Failure to Failure Successfully, 18 Sep 2023.pptxKashif Mateen Ansari
‘Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm’.
Quite bemusing that we have become quite experts in moving from one failure to another without losing any enthusiasm, though the sad part is that the failures increase in size and quantum.
To understand strategy in a simple manner three questions are quite helpful. When deciding on a course of action ask these questions: What next, what next and what next. As simple as they seem but they possess a great power to challenge anyone to consider the plan of action in the light of what will be the consequences, generally all intelligent people think about the consequence of their actions before committing them, but the wise ones think in a series of these question to fully understand the ramification of their deeds.
The IMF is a monster and there is no doubt about it; it has ruined many low-income countries and a lot has been written about the harms it has done to developing nations and emerging economies and how it has pushed millions into poverty through its straight-jacket approach where one size fits all is the rule.
A country’s failure is mostly due to its extractive institutions. Extractive institutions stifle economic growth and maintain inequality by consolidating power and wealth in the hands of a select few. By taking resources from the majority and impeding the growth of a diversified and competitive economy, they serve the interests of a governing elite. Corruption, favouritism, and the repression of personal freedoms and rights are frequently attributes of extractive institutions.
Wealth inequality in Pakistan is overwhelming. According to a World Inequality Database report, the top 10% of Pakistani households earn 42% of the country’s income, while the bottom 50% earn only 13%. With the current tsunami of inflation and low growth these figures are bound to aggravate further.
Income inequality is equally staggering where the rich live in a different world and the poor inhabit a different planet. To put it into perspective the richest earn sixteen times more than the average income for the poorest.
“it’s the transmission, stupid” accurately describes the difficulties the power sector is facing in Pakistan. Many of the issues affecting Pakistan’s power sector, such as power outages, limited access to electricity, inefficient use of the country’s existing power generation capacity, and high system losses, cannot be resolved due to the absence of a reliable transmission network.
Blackouts and load shedding are frequent in Pakistan as a result of the transmission network’s constrained capacity. This has a major impact on households, businesses, and the economy.
It is said, “Never waste a good crisis” … and Hilary Clinton added, “Don’t waste it when it can have a very positive impact on climate change and energy security.”
Discussion regarding developing a system that would allow regular people to participate in the generation, profitability, and administration of energy and power.
The Greater Good; How to Make State Owned Enterprise better by kashif mateen ...Kashif Mateen Ansari
This is the presentation I made at the E3 Conference in Bhutan. The main theme was increasing efficiency in the SOEs specially in the energy sector. The presentation does not dwell upon privatization as that was not in the scope of this paper. Though I have separately written on Privatization.
This is all about Corporate Governance ...
This is my interview published in Pakistan and Gulf Economist. The main theme was Consumerism and Consumer Financing with special reference to Pakistan.
This is a presentation on the requirement of a standard for Micro Entities in the South Asian Region, abridged version of what was presented at The South Asian Federation of Accountants' International Conference.

1. What is the fact ?
Why Cartoonists caricature him !!!
Wise men adore him a great man.
Billion* bear witness him a Messenger of God.
*1,126,325,000
3. ENCYCLOPAEDIA BRITANNICA
confirms:
“.... A mass of detail in the early sources
show that he was an honest and upright
man who had gained the respect & loyalty
of others who were like-wise honest and
upright men." (Vol. 12)
4. GEORGE BERNARD SHAW
about him:
"If any religion had the chance of ruling over England, nay
Europe within the next hundred years, it could be Islam.“
I have always held the religion of Mohammad in high
estimation because of its wonderful vitality. It is the only
religion, which appears to me to possess that assimilating
capacity to the changing phase of existence, which can
make itself appeal to every age.
I have studied him - the wonderful man and in my opinion
he must be called the Savior of Humanity."
5. GEORGE BERNARD SHAW
about him
I believe that if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the
modern world he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that
would bring it the much needed peace and happiness.
I have prophesied about the faith of Mohammad that it would be
acceptable to the Europe of tomorrow as it is beginning to be
acceptable to the Europe of today.
He was by far the most remarkable man that ever set foot on this
earth.
He preached a religion, founded a state, built a nation, laid down a
moral code, initiated numerous social and political reforms.
He established a powerful and dynamic society to practice and
represent his teachings and completely revolutionized the worlds of
human thought and behavior for all times to come.
(Sir George Bernard Shaw in 'The Genuine Islam; Vol. 1,
No. 8, 1936.)
6. YES! HE IS MOHAMMAD
(May Peace of God Be Upon Him (PBUH)
7. He was born in Arabian Peninsula; currently Saudia
Arabia (in Mekka) in the year 570, started his
mission of preaching the religion of Truth, Islam
(submission to One God) at the age of forty and
departed from this world at the age of sixty-three.
8. His Mission
During this short period of 23 years of his Prophet hood, he
changed the complete Arabian peninsula.
From paganism and idolatry to SUMISSION to The God,
From tribal quarrels and wars to national solidarity and
cohesion.
From drunkenness and debauchery to sobriety and piety,
From lawlessness and anarchy to disciplined living.
From utter bankruptcy to the highest standards of moral
excellence.
Human history has never known such a complete transformation
of a society or a place before or since - and IMAGINE all
these unbelievable wonders in JUST OVER TWO DECADES.
9. MICHAEL H. HART in his book on Ratings of Men
He ranked Mohammed first in the list, who contributed
towards the benefit and uplift of mankind:
"My choice of Mohammad to lead the list of the world's
most influential persons may surprise some readers and
may be questioned by others, but he was the only man
in history who was supremely successful on both the
religious and secular levels."
(M.H. Hart, THE 100: A RANKING OF THE MOST
INFLUENTIAL PERSONS IN HISTORY, New York, 1978,
p. 33)
10. La Martine, the renowned historian, speaking on
the essentials of human greatness wonders:
"If greatness of purpose,
smallness of means and
astounding results are the
three criteria of human
genius, who could dare to
compare any great man in
modern history with
Mohammad?
11. La Martine..
The most famous men created arms, laws
and empires only. They founded, if anything
at all, no more than material powers which
often crumbled away before their eyes.
This man moved not only armies, legislation,
empires, peoples and dynasties, but millions
inhabiting more than one-third of the world,
he moved the altars, the gods, the religions,
the ideas, the beliefs and souls....
12. La Martine.
His forbearance in victory, his ambition, which was
entirely devoted to one idea and in no manner striving for
an empire;
His endless prayers, his mystic conversations with God,
his death and his triumph after death;
All these attest not to an imposture but to a firm
conviction which gave him the power to restore a dogma.
This dogma was two-fold, the unity of God (what God is!)
and the immateriality of God (what God is not!).
He started the mission with words then overthrew false
gods with the sword.
13. "Philosopher, orator, apostle,
legislator, warrior, conqueror of
ideas, restorer of rational dogmas,
are cult without images,
the founder of twenty terrestrial
empires and of one spiritual empire,
that is MOHAMMAD.
As regards all the standards by
which Human Greatness may be
measured, we may well ask,
IS THERE ANY MAN GREATER THAN
HE?"
(Alphonse de La Martine, HISTOIRE DE LA TURQUIE,
Paris, 1854, Vol. II, pp 276-277)
14. The world has had its share of great personalities. But
these were one-sided figures who distinguished
themselves in but one or two fields, such as religious
thought or military leadership.
The lives and teachings of these great personalities of
the world are shrouded in the mist of time.
There is so much speculation about the time and place
of their birth, the mode and style of their life, the nature
and detail of their teachings and the degree and
measure of their success or failure that it is impossible
for humanity to reconstruct accurately the lives and
teachings of these men.
15. DIWAN CHAND SHARMA wrote:
"Mohammad was the soul of kindness,
and his influence was felt and never
forgotten by those around him." (D.C.
Sharma, THE PROPHETS OF THE
EAST,
Calcutta, 1935, pp. 12)
16. EDWARD GIBBON and SIMON OCKLEY
speaking on the profession of ISLAM write:
“I Believe in One God & Mohammad an Apostle
of God” is the simple and invariable profession
of Islam. The intellectual image of the Deity has
never been degraded by any visible idol; honor
of the Prophet has never transgressed the
measure of human virtues; and his living
precepts have restrained the gratitude of his
disciples within the bounds of reason and
religion.“
(HISTORY OF THE SARACEN EMPIRES,
London, 1870, p. 54)
17. He is not God
Mohammad (PBUH) was nothing more or
less than a human being. But he was a
man with a noble mission, which was to
unite humanity on the submission to ONE
and ONLY GOD and to teach them the
way to ideal and upright living based on
the commands of God.
He always described himself as “ A
Servant and Messenger God” and indeed
every action of his proclaimed to be.
18. The famous poetess of India, SAROJINI NAIDU says:
"It was the first religion that preached
and practiced democracy; for, in the
mosque, when the call for prayer is
sounded and worshippers are gathered
together, the democracy of Islam is
embodied five times a day when the
peasant and king kneel side by side
and proclaim: “God Alone is Great”
I have been struck over and over again by
this indivisible unity of Islam that makes
man instinctively a brother"
(S.Naidu, IDEALS OF ISLAM, vide Speeches
& Writings, Madras, 1918, p. 169)
19. PROF. HURGRONJE wrote
"The league of nations founded by the prophet
of Islam put the principle of international unity
and human brotherhood on such universal
foundations as to show candle to other nations.“
"The fact is that no nation of the world can show
a parallel to what Islam has done towards the
realization of the idea of the League of Nations."
20. The world has not hesitated to raise to
divinity, individuals whose lives and
missions have been lost in legend.
Historically speaking, none of these
legends achieved even a fraction of what
Mohammad (PBUH) accomplished. And
all his striving was for the sole purpose of
uniting mankind for the worship of One
God on the codes of moral excellence.
21. Mohammad (PBUH) or his followers
never at any time claimed that he was
a Son of God or the God-incarnate or
a man with divinity - but he always
was and is even today considered as
only a Messenger chosen by God.
22. Today after a lapse of fourteen centuries, the life
and teachings of MOHAMMAD (PBUH) have
survived without the slightest loss, alteration or
interpolation. They offer the same undying hope
for treating mankind's many ills, which they did
when he was alive.
This is not a claim of Mohammad's (PBUH)
followers but also the inescapable conclusion
forced upon by a critical and unbiased history.
23. Not so this man. Mohammad (PBUH) accomplished
so much in such diverse fields of human thought
and behavior in the fullest blaze of human history.
Every detail of his private life and public utterances
has been accurately documented and faithfully
preserved to our day. The authenticities of the
record so preserved are vouched for not only by the
faithful followers but also even by his prejudiced
critics.
24. Mohammad (PBUH) was a teacher, a social
reformer, a moral guide, an administrative
colossus, a faithful friend, a wonderful
companion, a devoted husband, a loving father -
all in one.
No other man in history ever excelled or equaled
him in any of these different aspects of life - but
it was only for the selfless personality of
Mohammad (PBUH) to achieve such incredible
perfections.
25. MAHATMA GANDHI
Speaking on the character of Mohammad,
(PBUH) says in YOUNG INDIA:
"I wanted to know the best of
one who holds today's undisputed
sway over the hearts of millions of
mankind….
I became more than convinced
that it was not the sword that won
a place for Islam in those days in
the scheme of life.
26. MAHATMA GANDHI
It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement
of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for his
pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and
followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his
absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These
and not the sword carried everything before them
and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the
2nd volume (of the Prophet's biography), I was
sorry there was not more for me to read of the great
life."
27. THOMAS CARLYLE in his HEROES AND
HERO WORSHIP, was simply amazed as to:
"How one man single-handedly,
could weld warring tribes and
wandering Bedouins into a most
powerful and civilized nation in
less than two decades."
"The lies (Western slander) which
well-meaning zeal has heaped
round this man (Mohammad) are
disgraceful to ourselves only.“
"A silent great soul, one of that
who cannot but be earnest. He
was to kindle the world, the world’s
Maker had ordered so."
28. Now please relax for
a moment
The least YOU could do as thinking and
concerned human being is to stop for a moment
and ask yourself: Could these statements
sounding so extraordinary and revolutionary be
really true?
Suppose they really are true and you did not
know this man MOHAMMAD (PBUH) or hear
about him, isn't it time you responded to this
tremendous challenge and put in some effort to
know him?
29. My Dear
It will cost you nothing but it may prove to
be the beginning of a completely new era
in your life.
30. My Attitude
Try to transform anger and sadness into a more positive response.
Just for human and moral reasons, it is our duty to let the non-
believers learn more about the reality and leniency of Islam.
My messages is to get others well-acquainted with my true religion.
Your Attitude
No difference to me who are you, or in which religion you believe.
Please meditate over the truth of Islam without delusion and falsity.
Give your mind a real chance for minutes.
31. Thank you for the time
Please try and learn more about Muhammad
(PBUH)
