ENERGY EFFICIENT ROUTING PROTOCOLS IN MANETS
prof Y.N Singh, IITK
TERM PROJECT:
CREATION OF PANAORAMA FROM A VIDEO
Mar-Apr 2015,prof Sumana Gupta, IITK
Implemented an approach to create a Panorama from a video by estimating the displacement.
The key step in this panoramic stitching algorithm is to extract and match SURF features between all of
the images.
In this project, feature based techniques are used to automatically stitch together a set of images
extracted from a video.
The paper is simulated using MATLAB.
TERM PAPER:
2. OPTIMUM RESOURCE ALLOCATION IN DOWNLINK OFDM WIRELESS
SYSTEMS
Nov 2014 , prof Aditya Jagannatham,IITK
This paper discusses downlink energy-efficient and fair resource allocation in OFDM wireless systems
to support mobile multimedia communications.
Both energy efficiency (EE) and proportional rate constraints are incorporated into the proposed
resource-allocation approaches.
B.TECH PROJECTS:
SINGING-VOICE SEPARATION FROM MONAURAL RECORDINGS
Jan-Apr 2012, Prof M.Koteswara Rao,SVEC
Music accompaniment can be assumed to be in a low-rank subspace, because of its repetition structure
and singing voices can be regarded as relatively sparse within songs.
Based on the above assumption, proposed a robust principal component analysis for singing-voice
separation from music accompaniment.
Performed the experiment and examined the separation results.
LINEAR PREDICTIVE CODING
Prof M.Koteswara Rao,SVEC
Linear predictive coding(LPC) is a digital method for encoding an analog signal in which a particular
value is predicted by a linear function of the past values of the signal.
Levinson-Durbin (L-D) Algorithm was used.
