Example
John Calvin’s famous work, Insitutes of the Chirstian Religion
(published in 1536), helped spread the protestant faith those
countries nor already under the sway of Lutheranism; after
reading Calvin’s book, countless people protestant. Although
the book owed almost all its ideals to the writtings of Martin
Luther, Its still had a wider appeal than anything Luther had
published. While Luther’s emphasis on the saving power
faith was difficult for many to accept Calvin’s emphasis on
the unimportance of mankind in the face of God’s majesty
and power was something that people of the sixteenth
century could readily grasp.

Explanation
In the paragraph, the waiter retuns again and again to Calvin’s Insitutes

relationship that many people converted to protenstant faith after
reading the book. To explain why the book encouraged conversion. The
author compare and contrasts it to Luther’s writing in two aspects.
Calvin’s writing had a wider appeal and that Luther stressed on the
saving power of faith while Calvin stressed the majesty and power of
God.
