In ancient times, the world was colorful but the gods made it grey to punish selfish humans. Many years later, after humans became more respectful, a wise man asked the god Elios for forgiveness. Elios took pity and sent the sacred bird Arcos to return color to the world by dropping blue, green, and yellow feathers in the sea, forest, and sky, then other colors everywhere else. As a reminder of Arcos' good deed, Elios placed a rainbow in the sky.

2. In the ancient times, the World was all in colour

3. On a bad day, the World became grey because the Gods
wanted to punish men, who had turned into selfish and
wicked persons.

4. Many years went by, and the humans were more respectful, but
also sad. Zaccaria, a wise man, climbed on a mountain to beg
forgiveness to Elios

5. Elios the God, moved by the prayer, sent Arcos, the sacred bird
with multicoloured plumage, in order to give the colours again to
the Earth.
Arcos directed to the sea and let a blue feather fall down.

6. Then, he went to the forest and let a green feather fall.

7. Flying towards the sun, he left a yellow feather.

8. Continuing to whirl, he left all the other feathers,
which coloured the rest of the World.

9. At the end, to remember Arcos’ good work, Elios, with
his hand, laid a beautiful rainbow down in the sky!!!
