This document provides information about the 2nd Annual Military Flight Training conference taking place from September 17-19, 2013 in London. The conference will address challenges in military flight training, innovations in simulation technology, and opportunities for international cooperation. In doing this, the workshop will highlight the current obstacles in current training and assessments and will identify the advantages of human factor integration within a successful and effective training programme. Tor Henrik Krokstad. Has been a pilot for 30 years with broad experience from the airline industry. His training background extends from simulator training, line training of pilots, leadership training of new commanders, human factor training of cabin crew, pilots, technicians, and various other airline personnel. He has specialised in Human Factors and is also involved with other industries on the subject. He has developed training for maritime training facilities and is used as a speaker in the pharmaceutical industry throughout Europe on safety and risk assessment. Jon Lars Syversen is a psychologist with 25 years of experience as consultant for the airline industry and air force. He has worked for a range of different companies, from small operators to major airlines, flying fixed wing and helicopters. His main experience is from pilot selection and with CRM-training, Commander-, Supervisor-, Instructor-courses. He has also trained CAA inspectors and been engaged in leadership development programs for a wide range of industries and professions. He is especially dedicated to the practical consequences of values, attitudes and cultural issues that contribute to individual professional successes and safety in risk operations. About HUCON Global HUCON Global specializes on human factors. The main focus is to bring the concept into training of personnel operating in high-risk environments. Assessing human performance is becoming increasingly important since procedures and technology are getting more complex. The company is working with this in aviation, the maritime industry and in medicine.
