This document summarizes a school project conducted by 10th grade students to calculate the total expenditure of the mid-day meal program for their school over one year. The students collected attendance and menu data from the 6th and 8th grades to calculate daily per-student food costs. They then multiplied this by the average monthly attendance to determine monthly and total annual expenditures. The project involved collecting data from teachers and the mid-day meal supplier. It concludes with a breakdown of the total annual expenditure by class.

6. WE ARE THE STUDENTS OF 10TH C CLASS. ON 5TH
OCTOBER. OUR MATHS TEACHER MRS SUSHMA SINGH MAM
GAVE US AN IDEA TO MAKE THIS PROJECT BASED ON MID
DAY MEAL. WE HAD TO FIND MID DAY MEAL EXPENDITURE
FOR WHOLE YEAR IN OUR SCHOOL. MID DAY MEAL IS
PROVIDED TO CLASS FROM CLASS 6TH TO 8TH STANDARD.
WE ALL MEMBERS OF OUR GROUP COLLECTED THE DATA
FROM DIFFERENT CLASS WHOSE STUDENTS TAKE MEAL.
6TH CLASS WAS NOT PRESENT IN OUR SCHOOL IN THE
MONTH OF APRIL,MAY,JUNE,AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER. 7TH
CLASS IS NOT AVAILABLE IN OUR SCHOOL FOR THE WHOLE
YEAR. WE TOOK THE ATTENDANCE OF 6TH CLASS FROM 5TH
COT TO 15TH NOVEMBER THEN AVERAGE ATTENDANCE
WAS TAKEN. ATTENDANCE OF 8TH CLASS FROM 2ND APRIL
TO 15TH NOV THEN AVERAGE WAS TAKEN FOR NEXT THREE

7. MONTHS. THEN WE MULTIPLY THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS
PRESENT PER DAY TO TOTAL EXPENDITURE OF FOOD ITEM PER
DAY PER STUDENT. WE WENT TO MRS RASHMI MONGA MAM
FOR THE MID DAY MEAL INFORMATION. RASHMI MAM TOLD US
THAT IF RICE COMES IN MEAL THEN THE TOTAL EXPENDITURE OF
PER DAY PER STUDENT IS 5 RS AND IF PURI COMES THEN THE
EXPENDITURE OF STUDENT PER DAY IS 4.75 RS. SO THAT WE
FOUND THE EXPENDITURE OF MID-DAY MEAL OF TOTAL
STUDENTS PER DAY. ACCORDING TO CLASS-WISE
ATTENDANCE. WE CALCULATED MONTH WISE EXPENDITURE
OF MID DAY MEAL.
WE ADD ALL THE CALCULATIONS AND FIND TOTAL
EXPENDITURE OF MID DAY MEAL OF WHOLE YEAR.
IN MAKING OF THIS PROJECT,SUSHMA SINGH MOM HELPED
AND GUIDED US. SHE ALSO TAKEN A LOT OF CONTRIBUTION .
