Fruits should be eaten on an empty stomach for optimal digestion and nutrient absorption. Eating fruits separately from other foods allows them to pass through the stomach quickly before other foods can ferment and cause issues. All fruits become alkaline in the body after digestion. For maximum health benefits, fruits should be eaten raw and whole, rather than cooked or in juice form which removes beneficial fiber. A 3-day fruit fast can help detoxify the body and leave one feeling rejuvenated.

The organization seeks donations and support from local farmers, hunters, and hunting equipment suppliers to help veterans regardless of injury severity.
The document describes experimental studies of two cylindrical latent heat energy storage systems (LHESS) using lauric acid as the phase change material (PCM). The first is a horizontal cylinder with one finned copper pipe passing through the center. The second is a vertical cylinder with two finned copper pipes allowing for simultaneous charging and discharging. Experiments were conducted to study the phase change behavior of the PCM and heat transfer processes during charging, discharging, and simultaneous charging/discharging. Results show natural convection plays an important role in melting and simultaneous charging/discharging but less so in solidification.

Product Design Trends in 2024 | Teenage EngineeringsPixeldarts
The realm of product design is a constantly changing environment where technology and style intersect. Every year introduces fresh challenges and exciting trends that mold the future of this captivating art form. In this piece, we delve into the significant trends set to influence the look and functionality of product design in the year 2024.
How Race, Age and Gender Shape Attitudes Towards Mental HealthThinkNow
Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying it’s good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation that’s least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state they’re comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).
AI Trends in Creative Operations 2024 by Artwork Flow.pdfmarketingartwork
Creative operations teams expect increased AI use in 2024. Currently, over half of tasks are not AI-enabled, but this is expected to decrease in the coming year. ChatGPT is the most popular AI tool currently. Business leaders are more actively exploring AI benefits than individual contributors. Most respondents do not believe AI will impact workforce size in 2024. However, some inhibitions still exist around AI accuracy and lack of understanding. Creatives primarily want to use AI to save time on mundane tasks and boost productivity.
Organizational culture includes values, norms, systems, symbols, language, assumptions, beliefs, and habits that influence employee behaviors and how people interpret those behaviors. It is important because culture can help or hinder a company's success. Some key aspects of Netflix's culture that help it achieve results include hiring smartly so every position has stars, focusing on attitude over just aptitude, and having a strict policy against peacocks, whiners, and jerks.

Google's Just Not That Into You: Understanding Core Updates & Search IntentLily Ray
1. Core updates from Google periodically change how its algorithms assess and rank websites and pages. This can impact rankings through shifts in user intent, site quality issues being caught up to, world events influencing queries, and overhauls to search like the E-A-T framework.
2. There are many possible user intents beyond just transactional, navigational and informational. Identifying intent shifts is important during core updates. Sites may need to optimize for new intents through different content types and sections.
3. Responding effectively to core updates requires analyzing "before and after" data to understand changes, identifying new intents or page types, and ensuring content matches appropriate intents across video, images, knowledge graphs and more.

A METAHEURISTIC APPROACH FOR OPTIMIZATION OF DISTRIBUTION ROUTES
Abstract:
The Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) consists of constructing minimum cost routes that includes a depot, vehicles with capacity constraints, and customers with known demands where the vehicles leave the depot, visit each customer exactly once, and return to the depot. This problem was first introduced by Dantzig and Ramser in 1959. Since the problem has broad application areas such as food, beverage, and newspaper distribution, cargo and mail delivery, transportation of military equipment, routing of school buses etc., it has attracted the researches in both academia and industry for a long period. Recent technological developments and competitive marketplace makes distribution problem more and more important. Because of this reason, the companies try to decrease their logistic costs by building better routes to survive in today’s competitive world.
The VRP belongs to the class of the NP-hard combinatorial optimization problems. This problem contains both the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) and the Bin Packing Problem (BPP) as special cases and lies at the intersection of these two well known NP-hard problems. Several mathematical methods, heuristics and metaheuristic approaches are applied to solve the vehicle routing problem. Although exact algorithms can reach the optimum solutions easily when the number of customers is less, they are not practical in real life problems with an increasing number of customers since the computation time for finding the solution grows exponentially. Therefore, heuristics and metaheuristics have been widely used by researchers. Clarke and Wright’s (1964) savings algorithm, Gillett and Miller’s (1974) sweep algorithm, and Bentley’s (1992) nearest addition method are some popular heuristic algorithms for this problem. The metaheuristic methods such as tabu search, simulated annealing, genetic algorithms, deterministic annealing and ant colonies have been applied to solve the VRP and good solutions have been obtained. Even though these methods do not guarantee the optimal solution, they provide satisfactory solutions in short computation time.
In the vehicle routing problem, capacity constrained vehicles leave the depot, stop by one or more customers and then return back to the depot. Here, the loading capacity for each vehicle is the same and the demand for each customer is known. The constraints are as follows: each customer can only be visited by one vehicle; the total customer demand on the route for a vehicle cannot exceed the vehicle capacity; and all vehicles have to return back to the depot. The objective of VRP is to minimize the total travelling distance or cost.
3. Dağıtım Rotaları Optimizasyonu İçin Meta Sezgisel Bir Yaklaşım / 173
In this study, some heuristic approaches and a metaheuristic, neural networks, are hybridized and applied to solve the vehicle routing problem. The two heuristics used are the well known nearest neighbor algorithm and Clarke and Wright’s savings algorithm. In this approach, the VRP is framed as a neural network with multiple layers of vehicles and customers. The connections between the layers are characterized by weights. These weights are all same for the first iteration but are modified for the subsequent iterations and feasible solutions are generated with the help of the heuristic.
The proposed neural network approach has been coded in Visual Basic 6.0 programming language and implemented on a Intel® Quad Core 2.4GHz personal computer. Three benchmark problem sets are used to evaluate the performance of the algorithm. The first set consists of benchmark problem instances of Christofides et al. (1979). The next two sets are the instances of Taillard (1993) and the Fisher (1994).
Computational results on benchmark problems demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed approach on VRP. The results of the algorithm are compared to the single pass solution of heuristics shows significant improvements. It can also be pointed out that the neural networks in conjunction with the savings algorithms gives better results than the one with nearest neighbor algorithm.

I) LİTERATÜR TARAMASI
Problemin matematiksel modeli graf(N,A) üzerinde tanımlanır.
A iki düğüm noktası arasındaki mümkün bağlantıları içeren oklar kümesidir. Her bir (i,j) ∈ A okunun ulaşım maliyeti cij şeklindedir. Dağıtım maliyetleri simetrik olduğundan cij = cji alınabilir. Ayrıca cii = 0’dır. Burada
