Ian finds a knife instead of a spoon at the breakfast table and takes it with him. On his way to school, Ian is confronted by a bully who demands his phone. When the bully threatens him, Ian stabs the bully with the knife he took and flees the scene.

This was a reading exercise designed for Primary students, but can be used as a writing guide for lower secondary. Please feel free to use it for narrative writing, past tense, individual and group work.
The power of love
1) Allie is a new student who nervously starts at her college. On her first day, she accidentally runs into Michael in the hallway, causing him to drop his books.
2) Michael tracks Allie down in the library to properly introduce himself. Allie ignores him at first but they have a brief conversation, though she leaves abruptly.
3) In their shared media class, Michael sits next to Allie. When he touches her hand, he falls from his chair mysteriously. Allie is accused of being a witch and runs from the class.
Script
1. A girl arrives home, puts her bag down, and goes into the living room where she sits on the sofa and turns on the TV.
2. She gets up to make tea in the kitchen. When she returns, she looks for a book but finds a hidden door behind the bookcase.
3. She struggles to move the heavy bookcase out of the way. After throwing books on the floor, she is able to open the door and cautiously walks downstairs, where she discovers a possessed girl in the cellar.
The power of love revision
Allie is a new student who has a tense first encounter with Michael when she runs into him, knocking his books to the floor. In the library, Michael tries to introduce himself to Allie but she ignores him. In their media class, Kelly accuses Allie of using supernatural powers when Michael falls from his chair after Allie touches his hand. Allie runs from the class upset. The next day, Michael finds Allie in the forest and returns her pen from class, hoping to make amends.
Minnie evans
Minnie Evans was a self-taught artist who had no formal art training past 6th grade but had a natural talent and strong desire to express herself through art. Her work featured multi-color designs with symmetrical patterns where similar colors, shapes or designs could be seen on equal sides of the piece.

Redemption
Vicki gets into a violent fight with her mother and storms out of the house. The next day, Vicki notices strange things happening like not seeing her reflection and her mother ignoring her. When Vicki's mother gets a phone call, she breaks down crying. Vicki then sees herself lying dead on the ground from a head injury. A bright light appears that Vicki's hand dissolves in. Vicki realizes she is dead and writes her mother an apology note before disappearing as the light fades away.
Storyboard for my Film Trailer
In the first scene, Eva is celebrating her birthday with friends but the next scene shows a different, troubled side of her. A letter then falls out of Eva's book from her mother saying she has left home and wants nothing to do with Eva. When her teacher asks about her grades and home life, Eva lies and runs off upset. The teacher finds Eva outside with blood on her wrist and offers to help Eva with what she is going through.

Slime was excited to go to the end of year dance but needed a partner. He asked several monsters but was rejected until he met Saline, a new student who could change colors and enjoyed dancing. Slime invited Saline to the dance and she accepted. They had such a great time at the dance that they later became married and continued dancing together.
The 400 blows
1) The film tells the story of Antoine Doinel, a troubled 12-year-old boy who acts out due to neglect from his parents. He frequently skips school and gets into trouble.
2) Antoine's mother yells at him often and his stepfather is harsh, bringing Antoine to a police station after he steals a typewriter.
3) After Antoine is caught skipping school again, his father slaps him. Antoine runs away from home and is eventually sent to a correctional facility, where he plans his escape.
Stop bullying
Two boys, Alejandro and Hector, bullied their classmate Maria by throwing things at her and hitting her while the teacher was out of the classroom. When the teacher returned, he found Maria on the floor crying. She had been hit in the eye with a pencil thrown by Alejandro. The teacher took Alejandro to the headteacher's office, but Hector remained and punched Maria in the face. Maria's parents called the police to report the bullying. The students were warned they could be sent to boarding school, so they apologized to Maria and stopped bullying her, and the next day they became friends.
Preliminary exercise valerie
A young black female student storms angrily into her classroom holding a paper. She confronts her male teacher at his desk about the poor grade of "E-" he has given her paper. The student insists she spent hours on the assignment and refuses to accept the grade. When the teacher reiterates that it was not good enough and needs more work, the student snatches the paper back aggressively and storms off, visibly upset about the grade.

This document is a script for a short film. It follows Abbie, an 18-year-old tomboy who is not interested in her appearance. Her friend Anna gives her a makeover and curls her hair. Abbie starts hanging out with the popular girls Alissa and Sofiya instead of Anna. Anna feels left out. Alissa and Sofiya try to turn Abbie against Anna by spreading rumors. Abbie's schoolwork also starts to suffer from spending time with her new friends. Her mother is disappointed after receiving a call from Abbie's teacher.

- 1. OPENING Ian is curled up in a ball on his bed looking very scared. ZOOMS INTO IAN’S FACE AND ZOOMS OUT TO REVEAL THE TITLE Ian is walking towards the kitchen and making a bowl of cereal. He then sits down at the table to eat the bowl but notices the spoon is a knife Ian looks at the knife confusingly and puts the knife in his pocket Ian get’s ready to leave then leaves the house He is walking to school when he is stopped in his path by a thug from his school THUG - "Where you off to then mate?" IAN - "School?" THUG - "That’s a nice phone you’ve got there Johnson, do you want to give it here?" IAN - "You really don’t want to do this." THUG - "Mark my words Johnson you’re going to regret saying that." Ian pulls out the knife from his pocket THUG - "So what you planning to do with that?" IAN - "This!" Ian stabs the Thug and runs away.
