I yelled for her to come quick scared out of my mind to the point of tears still trying to process everything. I will never forget the look my mom and
brother gave me when they saw her. My mom immediately took her from me and told my brother to start the car. The neighbor who witnessed it

We started off really strong and the score was 0–0 through the first two innings. Before I even got the chance to go bat, I heard my phone start to ring
in my bag. I was not up for two more batters so I answered it. It was my sister and when she answered the phone she was crying. That's when all of
the thoughts started to run through my head because I knew instantly something was wrong. The first thoughts that went through my head was my

the phone. The silence just made me keep thinking of the worst possible situations. The screams from my teammates telling me that I am next to bat
brought me back from my thoughts and I did what she told me to do and focused on baseball. It was time for my first at bat and I was shaking with
