The student requests that the digital multimeters in the Electronics Lab be replaced as most are not working properly. This is causing problems for students and instructors as the incorrect readings make students unsure if their circuit design is correct. It also wastes their time debugging circuits component by component. Defective multimeters especially pose issues during exams when students cannot get their deserved marks despite having a perfect circuit. Replacing the multimeters is needed so students can feel confident while performing lab tasks.

It is requested to you that the Digital Multimeters in “Electronics Lab” have need to be replaced.
It is a basic instrument of all experiments. Most of the Digital Multimeters in lab are not working
properly, which causes a lot of problems for students as well as instructors.
Defective Multimeters have made students unsure about what they have performed in Lab. After
connecting a complex circuit the improper readings of Multimeter make students of the thought
that they have an error in circuit design. So, they debug the whole circuit component by
component which is much irritable. Also, it is totally wastage of time.
Especially, in Lab Sessionals and Terminal exams the students have to face much trouble.
Instead of having connected a perfect circuitry they become unable to get their deserved marks.
The defective Multimeters should be replaced as early as possible, so that students feel confident
in Lab tasks.
