The dancers at the National Ballet Theatre have widely disapproved of the new Minden pointe shoes that were introduced. In response to trying the new shoes, dancers have provided negative feedback and wish to go back to the original shoes they used. Comments from three dancers specifically criticized the new shoes for being too stiff, uncomfortable to break in, and causing feet to bleed after wearing them. While the new shoes may be more cost efficient, precision and mobility are most important for the dancers. Based on observing the negative reactions, the public consultant recommends immediately stopping purchase of the Minden shoes.
