FIN is a not-for-profit organization founded by the University of Leeds department of Food Sciences & Nutrition that engages businesses across the UK food sector to support innovation and growth. FIN provides its members reduced costs and risks from conducting research through an open innovation network, funding, business support, and connectivity between academia, large businesses, and innovators to generate sales and profits. Membership offers weekly newsletters, seminars, meet the buyer events, and networking opportunities to enhance members' profiles in the sector, attract innovators, partners, and customers, and provide new routes to market and export markets.
