Their goals are to break records including crossing the Atlantic Ocean, advocate for adaptive gear to allow injured veterans access to watercraft, and inspire veterans through teamwork and goal achievement. Mike Bresnan
Professional Photographer - Everyday Heroes Project
Mike Bresnan is a colleague of the Never Quit Challenge founder, Shawn Alladio. Together for the past year they have been collaborating on the Everyday Heroes Project. The Everyday Heroes Project tells the stories of those on the front lines serving others in need during moments of peril or providing protection. Everyday Heroes are our lifesavers, rescuers, emergency service personnel, military veterans.
Mike’s involvement with the NQC was to film the ‘Alpha and the Omega’, the NQC ‘beginning and ending’. He flew to Key West, Florida on September 5th and charged up the Florida Keys to the Miami landing with an incredible reception led by Mr. Art Serig and a host of professional contributors from the local law enforcement, boating and business community, at the Rickenbacker Marina in Key Biscayne.
From there Mike took the NQC official coins and delivered them to the NFL game between the Washington Redskins and the Philadelphia Eagles where several players dedicated their game on behalf of the NQC on September 9th, 2013.
Mike met up with the NQC group as they made their way into Battery Park City on Jetskis at Dennis Conner’s North Cove Marina on the anniversary of the Terrorist attacks against America on September 11th.

2. It’s an imperative. A call to action. A command.
It’s our effort to inspire our fellow veterans to
take back their extraordinary lives. We want
our epic adventure to compel others to do the
same. We are out to set world records on jet
skis, including crossing the Atlantic Ocean in
record time.
WWe are doing this to raise awareness for the
challenges veterans face today and inspire
them to join their community, create a team,
and chase their own dreams.
We are also advocating for the design of
adadaptive gear that allows injured and wounded
veterans to get onto water craft and join the
warm and welcoming boating community.

5. Guinness World Records
Pursuing
Our Dream
Our small team of Marines and friends have ral-
lied around P.K. Ewing and helped him recover
from the injuries and depression that reulted
from his military and OIF service. We are going
to use our experience and training to break re-
cords maintained by the Guinness World Re-
cords organization.
We have to meet very strick guidelines to do so.
Except for long range fuel tanks, navigation and
safety gear, the jet skis our team rides must be
stock models. We will have a support boat fol-
lowing on rides to provide safety, fuel, food and
emergency support during the voyages.
The support boat cannot assist or advance the
journey in any other way. Team members cannot
be pushed or towed by the support boat at any
time. When in contact with the support boat,
both vessels must be drifting.
WWe are looking for corporate sponsors to fund
the ride across the Atlantic Ocean. We’ll need a
world class support boat, fuel and supplies,
spare jet skis, navigation equipment and a
dozen other imperative necessities.
Our goal is lofty so our needs are great.
Nothing will stop us fNothing will stop us from pursuing greatness.
We have the opportunity to impact the lives of
veterans all across the world.

6. The message TAKE POINT NOW is sending
to veterans is: YOU ARE EXTRAORDINARY!
Remember that. No matter what you have Remember that. No matter what you have
been through, you are a veteran and you
have lived an incredible adventure. DON’T
STOP NOW! Get out and continue your ex-
traordinary life. Find your dream and
make it come true.
From 2004 to 2005, Maj. Ewing, SSgt. Kilby, Sgt.
Raney, Sgt. Pignone, and LCpl. Dixon
deployed to Ramadi, Iraq. During that time the deployed to Ramadi, Iraq. During that time the
team experienced both physical and mental stress-
ors and challenges. Ten years later, the team has
grown in size and is now focused on a new objec-
tive: breaking Guinness World Records on personal
water craft (PWC).
The intent is to sound a call that reaches other
veterans who may feel isolated and depressed and
are lacking the objective driven, team oriented
experience that identified their lifestyle during
their service.

7. Washington DC/New York
I decided to find a way to move forward in a dra-
matic way that would inspire others the way I was
inspired. Accomplishing a world record was the
way to go.
I looked for something demanding that was still
within my reach. It finally came down to riding a jet
ski across the Atlantic Ocean. At that point, my
journey really began.
I was inspired by the double amputees learning
to run again. I was inspired by the Wounded
Warriors that were starting businesses and writing
books. I was inspired by the veterans excelling at
the Paralympics and the Wounded Warrior games
despite devastating injuries.
I was inspired by the older veterans mentoring the I was inspired by the older veterans mentoring the
younger ones through their nightmares and flash-
backs and by the families fighting to make a new
life out of the shredded remains of their old one.
But, being a Marine meant I was never alone even if I
thought I was. I was surrounded by Marines, friends, my
nurse care manager and recovery care coordinator. There
were Marines at the rehab clinic. There were Marines at my pain management clinic and my PTSD group.
Marines and soldiers, sailors and airmen were all around me and all of them were struggling too.
While recovering from life threatening congestive heart
failure and a severe injury to my C-spine I had no idea if I failure and a severe injury to my C-spine I had no idea if I
would ever live a normal life again. My deployment to
Ramadi IraqI left me in constant pain from the compression
on my spinal cord. I often struggled to walk and spent days
in bed or on my couch. I was deeply depressed and deal-
ing with a broken body and spirit.
