The Sequim Lavender Festival will take place from July 17th to 19th, 2009 in Sequim, Washington, known as the Lavender Capital of North America. Visitors can tour seven lavender farms for $15 over the three-day event and experience the fragrance and techniques used for cultivating, harvesting, drying, and using lavender, including u-pick opportunities. The street fair in downtown Sequim will feature over 120 booths selling lavender products and foods, along with live music. Shuttle service and parking are provided free of charge.

We invite you to experience the fragrance and splendor of this amazing herb. Each farm
is distinctive, reflecting the vision of its owner and the surrounding environment. Farmers
share their techniques for cultivating, harvesting, drying and using lavender. U-pick
lavender is offered at each farm, plus workshops, demonstrations, craft artists, music,
food and beverages. Take advantage of our “Meet the Farmer” daily programs to find out
how they work their magic.
Street Fair
The street fair, located in downtown Sequim is “Lavender Central,” and features more
than 120 juried booths including premier lavender and lavender products proudly offered
by members of the Sequim Lavender Growers Association. Local foods, wines, and live
music add to the festivities. Enchant your family with the magic of lavender and our new
community program that brings together local organizations and family fun.
