Dear Telegram and Gazette Editor:
This year marks the 100th year since the much forgotten Armenian Genocide;
as a sign of respect to both the Armenian community of Worcester, and all those
who have perished in the Genocide, the Visual and Performing Arts department has
decided to stage Richard Kalinowski’s: “Beast on the Moon.”
I am certain that this will interest your subscribers, as a high percentage of
Worcester Telegram and Gazette readership happens to be of Armenian decent. The
production also features local area actors hailing from both the Wachusett Regional
school district, Doherty Memorial high school, and even the West Boylston school
district as well. I believe that this is an opportunity for the community as a whole,
not just those of Armenian decent, to come together, be educated, and remember
and often times skipped part of the worlds history.
Enclosed you’ll find the Media Alert and Press Release, if you would
like hard copies, I would be more than happy to drop some by your office. Please do
not hesitate to call or email me directly should any questions arise. Thank you for
your time, and consideration of Worcester State University’s production of “Beast
On the Moon.”
Sincerely
