Focusing on an underserved aspect of the healthcare agenda – Adolescent health The Young Health Programme is a global community investment initiative that is about helping young people in need around the world deal with the health problems they face and improve their chances of living a better life.

Building our understanding and knowledge through research The WAVE (Well-Being of Adolescents in Vulnerable Environments) Study is underway and is designed to understand the factors that facilitate and hinder disadvantaged adolescents from obtaining needed health information It is being conducted in six global cities; Baltimore, Nigeria*, Johannesburg, New Delhi, Rio de Janeiro and Shanghai *funded by the Gates Foundation.
