HIGHLIGHTED WORDS: High Frequency Words
Spend some time practicing the words you spelled incorrectly on Monday’s pre-test. On Friday, we will have a dictation test that
includes all of the words. Below are some fun ways for you to practice your spelling words for the week.

PHYSICAL!
Jump rope
while you
spell the
words out
loud.
Write out the
words.
Underline all of
the vowels in a

etc)

See attached sheet
First, dot out a letter of the word. Next,
trace the letter. Keep doing it until you are
finished with the whole word. Repeat with
all spelling words on your list.
WORD JUMBLE:
Scramble your words and write the
correct spelling next to each scrambled
word.
