2. Work Experience
September 2013 to Present. Team Leader Alphard Maritime/Alphard Security.
Successfully gaining employment with Alphard Security as a member of a four-man MSO team and having
completed a total of 13 successful transits to date. I was given the position of 2ic after my first two transits and
then duly promoted to Team Leader after a further two transits. Having completed over 290 HRA days within the
four rotations with my current employer and continuing to increase my experience within the industry.
May 2013 – September 2013
Undertaking and successfully passing all courses necessary to retrain as a maritime security officer.
Whilst on the Close Protection Course (for our live operation) worked as part of the Security Advance Party,
Personal Escort Section and temporarily 2ic for the immediate family during the funeral of a very well known high
profile celebrity.
January 2001 – May 2013. Airflow Air-Conditioning S.L
Co-owner and head technician/engineer of a small air conditioning company, dedicated to the installation, repair
and maintenance of air-conditioning units, solar panels and heat pumps. Acquiring an in-depth knowledge of the
technical and refrigerant aspects of a vast array of units and assuming responsibility for all the technical aspects
of the business. Appointed by Panasonic as an official service and repair technician for all Panasonic units within
Malaga province. Responsible for working on the majority of models including splits, water chilled, VRV's and
VRF's. Processing orders and warranty claims for Panasonic spares and referring to their PDF files to resolve
technical issues.
October 1998 – October 2000. Soltec Select Air, Air-conditioning installer.
April 1994 – September 1998. Self-Employed Decorator.
March 1989 – March 1994. British Army.
Joining the Army Air Corps reaching the rank of lance corporal and working in the signals detachment as
squadron radio operator/CVR(T) Driver within regiment providing vital communications between the aircraft
and ground support. Managing the day-to-day maintenance and routine repair to the appointed signals
rebroadcast tracked vehicle. Learning all the traits of an army air corps soldier including helicopter refueling,
husbandry and HGV driving, obtaining driving licences for both this and tracked vehicles.
Personal Profile
Continuing what I learnt within the Corps with regards to its values and standards and applying them to my day-
to-day livingand working ethics.
The character traits that were formed during my period in the forces are key elements that I have used and will
carry forward into future jobs.
Throughout my career development working as a team player, supporting colleagues and someone who can be
trusted to be reliable and dedicated at all times.
Will always demonstrate genuine willingness and capability to take on higher responsibilities undertaking them
with enthusiasm, diligence and professionalism.
