Our aim was separate the different
ingredients of a mixture using three
methods:
- Filtration
- Magnetism
- Evaporation
How we did it?
7. 1st.- We mixed some salt,
some soil and some iron
filings.
8. 2nd.- We separated iron filings
from the mixture by …
MAGNETISM
Magnet atracts the iron filings. It was amazing!!
9. 3rd.- Then we add
some water to make a
new mixture:
water, soil and salt.
Salt is dissolved in
water
10. 4 rd.- .- We separated soil
from waterand salt by
FILTRATION
Water passed through the
filter and the soil remained
in it.
11. 5 th.- We put the
solution in a dish.
6 th.- All the dishes
with the solutions were
placed on the radiator.
12. 7 th.- We waited 24 hours, and …
A cause the heat, water was
disapperared!
Salt have made chrystals!
