Matt, a pebble, goes on an adventure down a mountain and into a river system, getting smaller and smaller through weathering and erosion along the way, until after floating in the river for days he reaches the ocean, gets stuck in a delta, washes up on a beach and over the course of a week gets eroded into a grain of sand by the wind and waves.

2. HI, I am Matt and I am a pebble. One day I was on the mountain, having a great time I was just relaxing in the sun just laying on the mountain. Now I think this is called weathering.

3. Then I was slowly going down the mountain. Then I was dropped in to the water. I was very scared. Now I am entering the young river.

4. Then I was slowly moving down the river. Then I noticed that I was getting smaller and smaller and smaller. But now I am in the mature river.

5. I have been floating down the river for three days now and I think I am getting close to the ocean by now. Now I was as small as a penny. But right now I am in the old river.

6. I finally arrived at the ocean then I suddenly I was in a delta and I got stuck then I moved along the ocean.

7. I got washed up on the beach and then I was a grain of sand. For my past week on the beach, I have been stepped on, picked up and put down, and blown around by the wind. This is called erosion.
