It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Suzanne Friedman, our Social Director. I have gotten to know Suzanne pretty well over this past year and have worked closely with her on our monthly community newsletter, Buena Vida, The Good Life, which she produces and edits by herself. The most recent issue was 35 pages with a professional glossy look that reflected Suzanne’s proficiency and talent. I might add that there was not a single error, grammatically or otherwise, which is typical of her work. Suzanne’s skill set includes outstanding organizational skills as she is required to juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. She has organized our dine out evenings, successfully coordinated numerous community events including our July 4th clambake, a jazz night and an excursion on the “Jungle Queen” out of Fort Lauderdale this month. She frequently goes beyond her everyday responsibilities by helping out other staff. Suzanne’s attention to detail is another quality that makes her so successful as our Social Director. We have a wonderful monthly Trivia Night for the residents of our community, which Suzanne coordinates and hosts. It is always a fun night which includes much laughter and a wonderful array of desserts. What I like most about Suzanne is that she is a genuinely nice person. She really cares about what she does and the people in our community, and that is evidenced everyday by her actions. Suzanne Friedman will be sorely missed at Buena Vida, and I wish her all the success that she so richly deserves.
