This document summarizes the results of a survey conducted by students on understanding of diabetes between male and female students. 200 students, 100 male and 100 female, were surveyed using a 16 question questionnaire. Statistical analysis of the responses found that both genders displayed a good overall understanding of diabetes, its causes and symptoms. For most questions, tiredness, pancreas and kidney failure were the most commonly selected correct answers by both males and females. The survey provided an opportunity for students to apply their statistical knowledge and enhance their understanding of diabetes.
