About the poems in this book
When I started writing these poems I didn’t know where they were headed. There
were no themes or symbols. I wrote down some words, I’d continue with
whatever else came. In the best cases the words would start to chain together
and develop into an idea or description by the end. I didn’t see most of them
coming.
When a piece was finished I immediately wanted to reword it and clean it up to
make more sense out of it. There were misspellings, nouns used as adjectives,
words that weren’t even words. I wasn’t sure it was readable.
So I would write and rewrite the poems until I’d rewritten them to death and
zapped any energy they had when they came out the first time. So I went back to
my original notebooks and copied those poems as they were written in those
moments. Those are the words you’ll read here. They had a better sense of
where they were going and what they would eventually be than I did.
Last thing I’ll say is this: Do everything you can to do whatever it is you love.
Don't listen to anybody. Each person has a calling. Follow your ideas and
passions through. And you’ll inspire others to do the same.

Tell me when a woman kills a pig how it’s blue and then a slight pink career.
One eye is a trooper as it hangs and one hand to proper soft on baby's born and
how green and piglets New Jersey. I was a loser, and now that’s not a loser.
That’s a tendency and a partner. There’s so little to liking this, and so prone. It’s
to death for death. And death is happy, smiles all its life for life.

The days not gone, accrued into a few minutes. A few, give or take, that we’ll
remember for 20 years before they’ll be gone forever. By then though we’ll have

61. I just wanna see what‘s place
I just wanna see what’s place. I just wanna what’s clear and open. Why can’t I
to clean and clear place for me and my family and my dream, writing.
62. You and I are the same
You and I are the same. The same heel and thinking. The same what comes
with us is the same. We have each other’s new voice. You and I are both one of
our own. No one clops us or shapes us up as a sound of this nature. But I will do
it because I can write it.

61. 63. This becomes a woman
This becomes a woman, seeing what is ten. No stupid way like ass like,
bottom top types or tips. Sure that’s one, but seeing 10 not til you are just a kid.
Your mind is no stupid way, no clear channel past glasses, and no recovery. A
woman is not a word. I have put her in my way, but this is nothing. This is just a
play. You can't see her from this. It's my problem.

62. 64. Once devoured dream
Once devoured dream lay thin on landing. You could see her call my new in
you, could see her call. Her name at my age is vita, is its square, is temptation
and tattler. But score fruit is its advantage brother.
Once scaled and placed king still sat devoured spring of space into handle
hercule on its skill and tan challenged on its space. Her name at my age is tam
Pavla. My square at littler in the store. My just as you. Its front from my
advantage, brother.

63. 65. What would front a man?
What would front a man? Whatever would cost a man would clear to young
boy, a woman would clear to a fellow after. I hear a prince. I know her, and I
would still see what from fronters.
66. What’s from but what’s from nothing, kid
What's from but what’s from nothing, kid. Just its true chance at would. Its
alive cook at promise. Squall can alive fell breeze. Norman can be Norman after
Norman's house.

64. 67. Fit for alls and days
Fit for alls and days. Fit to know the man for all he does. Not to write him free.
To have done me. To have worked my own into frame and no one elsewhere.
Why friend in always that it says no to repeat or force someone on something.

65. 68. Once picking and then another
Once picking and then another ten off-color chances or pop chances. Once
only over school form. Hand of Chances, it’s next cool. Man desires cool more.
Cool men, cool to rehabit baby back to swim in skirt. Skirt on swims on rhythm,
not denying how school kid fabric won’t sill on his own. Against breakage a wife
breaks softly what’s challenging. Everything with her can style, can outshell Nike
air, can begin plaster on its true dumb old wise finally.

66. 69. Only one dreamer or shadower
Only one dreamer or shadower in its place. Only one walker in its clam or
format. Everyone into her own scoop. Writs or travelers only to begin. Not by
reading but by writing.
70. One age of rhythm
One age of rhythm can still up take one of lives, can up fruit its talking and
spring its place. Every age or rhythm calls out changes. One layer from habiting
chances, one group from numbing gain. Slicks on proof of draft. Likers to evolve
a liver, chocolate pace, age and handsome, impossible to fire.

67. 71. I knew I would see church again
I knew I would see church again. I knew it would open to classes. There was
a supreme B through circles. If there was going to be a premiere it would be fail-
tinned, open to dorsal light, breakers, thines, not North but process or themes.
My choices. My channel.
72. That life and those images
That life and those images, those friends and that attitude and that image of a
school time can be linked now, cleaned. Look here. Here you have it all. But not
to your note. You will have to clean and clear and little tumblers and shakers
yourself.
