MATERIALS THAT CAN BE USED IN
THE FUTURE ON AUTOMOBILE BODY
PROJECT FACT SHEET
Key points, Numbers, Achieved Outcomes
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
MAIN OBJECTIVE
PROJECT COVER
Project folder covered by ZES
(French Norm) steel and and
Prepared paper work pasted to
project folder who explains if
we use another material
instead of steel how density,
resistance, elastics module and
weight of folder would change.
Project aim is to show possible material enrichment on automobile body for the future and
make broaden Renault Research database with a project who search Materials that can be
used in the future on automobile body (Body-in-White) with their mechanical and chemical
specification , usage area on the automobile body and possible remplaces with considering
material resource in the world and material's actual and possible future costs.
Main objective of projects is research and find more light materials for automobile body
without compromising mechanical specification and quality in order to have less fuel
consumers and more enviromently vehicles in the future.
