LOCATION

For a more general idea, we say that
Marrakech is a city relatively interior,
located in the central west of Morocco,
about 180Km from the Atlantic coast.
DESCRIPTATION
Marrakech contains beautiful places and
it known by the Jamaa el fna the
Koutoubia and other historical
monuments. As it is wonderful she has
welcomed millions and millions of tourists
from all aver the wold.
Marrakech has the largest traditional
market (souk) in Morocco.
HISTORY

It has a population of 1,070,838 (as
of 2004), and is the capital of the
mid-southwestern. Marrakech rapidly
gained regional importance on the
market trades of the Maghreb and
sud-Saharan Africa.
Marrakech quickly developed and
many craftsman came from Arab
Andalusia to build exquisite places
and buildings.
GOOD AND BAD THINGS
Marrakech history is rich comparing
to other cities in the Moroccan. A vist
to this amazing city is somehow
traveling back to the past where you
can explore its amazing places and
old market streets.
But if you've never traveled to a
country like Morocco or is likely to
have a sense of insecurity as some
people have beeen threatened or
atrecada but this does not mean that
Marrakech is dangerous.
TRANSPORT

From the airport
The airport is 4 km away from the city
centre.
By train
The train station is located at the
new city.
By Car
There are numerous car's companies
and they all stop at the car comaniens
station.
Small Taxis
Small taxis can take up to three people.
Horse-drawn carriages
Horse-drawn carriages are a nice
way to visit the city.
PLACES TO VISIT

Menara gardens: The Menara Gardens
were built in 12th centuryby Almohad, The
name menara derives from the pavillon
witch small green pyramid roof.
Agdal Gardens, Marrakech:
is consisted of vast orchards,
a large lagoon, and other
small pools.
Majorelle Garden: These
gardens belonged to the era
when colonialism was still a
superior word in Europe.
Dar Si Said: Dar Si Said museum
has a high-quality compilation of
Morocco works of art.
Jemaa el Fna:
At the center of Medina the famous
Diemaa el Fna square is situated, which
is the heartbeat of Marrakech.
Koutoubia: Its a monument in the
interior of the Medina next to Bad Jedid.
PEOPLE AND LANGUAGE

The official language in Morocco is
Arabic.
But French, English and Spanish
language are important.
