Maria, who dreams of being a doctor and has a big heart, meets a real princess whose puppy has gone missing. After finding the puppy, Maria spends the day with the princess and her royal family, sharing snacks and bonding over their experiences. They enjoy each other's company and part ways as best friends, promising to keep in touch.

Maria loves people and wants to be a doctor.
With her big heart she could also be a wonderful
princess!

If Maria ever met a real princess what will they do?
Just imagine …

If a beautiful princess and her parents
the Queen and King have come to town...

Maria's family goes to the train station to see
them ...
but it's so crowded she can only see 3 crowns!

So on their way home Maria and her family buy ice
cream cones; from inside the store
they see the royal family running around
outside-- very upset!

"My puppy got out and ran away!" the princess is
crying.
So Maria runs to look for the princess's puppy

And running down an alley she finds
the princess's puppy!
So she carries it back to the princess.

Everyone is so grateful to Maria,
the King invites her to spend the day with them!

Maria shares a favorite snack with the royal
family from her backpack;
And takes the princess to meet friends at school

And Maria teaches the princess about some
wonderful heroes and heroines

Then later Maria and the princess try on
some of each other's favorite clothes.

And each girl gets a bouquet of flowers from the
King.

Maria even gets her own butler for the day!

Then back at Maria's home the girls
teach each other how to sing their favorite
karaoke songs.

The princess asks Maria where she wants to travel.
"The Philippines, Rome and Australia," Maria says.
"I'm already learning about them on the
INTERNET!"

"My mother always asks me to help more around
the house," the princess mentions. "You too?"
Maria laughs. "I always try to help--sometimes I
finish!"

The princess enjoys meeting some more of Maria's
friends.
Then it's time to go home.

"Today was so much fun!" the princess says.
"Let's be best friends forever!"
