Here’s the bad news…
The Apply Texas essay topics are changing for
 the 2013-2014 school year. Your Topic C
 essays can still be used (it’s now Topic B), but
 Topic A has changed completely.
Good news, everyone!
If you’re applying to Camp College @ Sam
   Houston, you can use Topic A as your
   application essay.

   What: 2 night visit to Sam Houston State,
    chance to learn about the college and
    application process
   When: June 10th-June 12th
   Application deadline: April 1st
   This summer program is FREE and
    transportation is provided from Austin!!

Southwestern U STEPS
Program
   What: Science Training and Education
    Program, 4 weeks (no weekends) college prep
    experience with math and science courses,
    research opportunities, and community and
    skill building activities
   When: June 3rd-June 28th
   Not an overnight camp, but it’s FREE and you
    can get reimbursed for gas mileage
   Application due: April 1st

   Bus leaves at 8:30 from Connally
   If you’re riding the bus without a parent, you
    need to get a permission slip signed
